Twelve-strand
braid of 100% Dyneema fibres with a protective coat of
coloured urethane, which increases abrasion resistance
and prolongs the life of the rope.
Available in different colours.
Spec 12 is easily spliced but a reinforced
thimble is recommended due to the high tensile loading
attributes.
Uses
High
load control applications, where ultra low stretch is
required, e.g. halyards, check stays, runners, traveller
lines, special cable pulling lines and seismic
instrument towlines.
