Dyneema
(also known as Spectra) braid is a very strong, low
stretch and a lightweight line.
The 100% Dyneema braided core is covered by a
special spun polyester braided cover to bond the cover
with the core during high load applications, using
clutch type jammers. The cover is a fine multi-carrier
braid using high tenacity polyester and solution dyed
polyester with a similar tenacity.
Used for halyards, guys, racing control lines and
sheets, low stretch high load applications.
